The Good: Sleeker, a condensed version from the
previous Kindle; enriched screen with higher contrast and a quicker page turner; a library of thousands of books, magazines, newspapers and blogs via the Amazon store; native PDF support; built in keyboard for side notes; Wi-Fi support to connect to Amazon internet store; a sizable memory that holds 4GB (3.3 accessible) capable of holdng
3,500 electronic books; eight fonts available, including two new extra-large sizes; outstanding battery life; displays image files, and plays MP3 and AAC audio.
The Bad: No slot to expand memory; no support for EPUB book files; no protective carrying case included; non removable battery that is sealed into case.
The Final Decision: The third-generation Kindle's winning combination of significant
upgrades--an larger screen, longer battery life, lighter weight, and reduced price--shoots it to the top of the e-book reader category. If you know someone who loves to read this is a must buy.
